3¾-inch enamel dial signed E J Dent, London and set within a pierced foliate gilt mask, the three train fusee and chain movement No. 760 signed Dent, London, Clockmaker to the Queen, with under-slung jewelled ratchet tooth lever escapement and compensation balance, maintaining power, striking the quarters on two bells and the hour on a gong, the backplate mounted with a strike/silent lever, rectangular gilt and patinated bronze glazed case with carrying handle
