33.5-cm brass dial with engraved centre, engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and inner date marking, signed by the retailer Helm Ormskirk, foliate pierced hands, date pointer and subsidiary seconds, moonphase in the arch, anchor movement with rack striking on a bell, mahogany case with ogee moulded top and broken swan neck pediment with three brass finials, break arch glazed door flanked by fluted columns, fluted quarter columns to the trunk with long shaped door, moulded base with canted brickwork corners raised on bracket feet
