32.5-cm brass dial with engraved matted centre, engraved silvered chapter ring signed Jo.N. Clayton Prescott, foliate pierced hands and subsidiary seconds, foliate pierced mask spandrels, date aperture and ball moon in the arch, movement with ring turned knopped pillars, anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, burr elm case with moulded broken arch cornice over pierced frets, break arch moulded door flanked by full corner columns, straight trunk with long double arched door with inlaid banding, similar inlay to the double moulded plinths, raised on bracket feet
