7.5-cm ormolu dial with Roman numerals and engine turned centre, Breguet hands, countwheel bell striking anchor movement with silk suspended pendulum, frontplate signed Pons, arched brickwork case flanked by a troubadour with a lyre, rectangular base with an elaborate trophy mount, relief moulded plinth raised on trefoil feet, bronzework of good quality
