18-cm engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, matted brass dial with shell spandrels and subsidiaries for fast/slow and chime on eight bells/Westminster on gongs, lever for silent/chime outside III, three train anchor movement marked LFS with quarter chiming on either 8 bells or 4 gongs, hour striking on a gong, ebonized case with inverted bell top surmounted by four urn finials and a handle, pierced brass sides and stop fluted canted corners, moulded plinth raised on brass bracket feet
