13.5-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals signed Cleret elève de Robin, inner date and day marking, Breguet hands and pointers for day and day, movement with anchor escapement and knife-edge suspended pendulum, countwheel striking on a bell, fusee and chain self changing musical organ mechanism, 17-cm brass cylinder playing one of seven airs on fourteen metal pipes, fluted white marble case surmounted by a music stand, flanked by an ormolu man playing a flute and a lady playing a citar, moulded base with fluted marble corner columns flanking the finely foliate pierced ormolu front and side panels, ormolu relief moulded plinth with ormolu fan relief mounts raised on engraved bun feet
