15-cm gilt relief dial with blue Roman cartouche numerals, foliate pierced centre, rack bell striking movement marked Chles MT 8991 with Brocot escapement, elaborate gilt bronze case surmounted by a pierced urn with bird handles, fluted columns with elaborate finials flanking the foliate pierced top and front, ornamental handles and scrolls to the sides, moulded base with a central cartouche raised on shaped feet
