A large French Napoleon III gilt bronze 'Sevres' mounted sculptural mantel clock, circa 1870

13-cm enamel dial with blue Roman numerals and foliate pierced hands, countwheel bell striking movement marked R.G. and Marti & Cie, gilt bronze case surmounted by a group of three putti and a goat in a bacchanal, relief moulded base inset with 'sevres' plaques depicting putti, foliate scrolls to the sides, the whole raised on turned feet, pendulum lacking
