A large and attractive French Louis XVI-style sculptural bisque 'cercles tournants' mantel clock, circa 1870

rack bell striking movement numbered 3770 with club tooth lever platform escapement driving the two horizontal chapter rings with enamel numerals, fitted in an urn shaped bisque case with a moulded lid surmounted by a berry finial, garlands hung between the scroll handles, supported by a fluted column, surrounded by a well shaped and defined bisque group of the 'Three Graces' holding garlands, rectangular base with classical relief panels raised on a moulded bronze plinth
