Molenaer Amsterdam, aperture in the arch with painted view of Amsterdam with three ships and two sea creatures rocking to and fro’ on a choppy sea with Mercury above connected to the going train of the four pillar anchor movement with rack Dutch quarter striking on two bells, alarm on the large bell, burr walnut veneered case with shaped hood surmounted by a giltwood atlas and two angels, shaped moulded corniche with carved ornament above fine foliate pierced front and side frets, break arch glazed door with brass capped columns, canted trunk, the long shaped door with chequered inlaid banding and Father Time lenticle, moulded bombed base with similar inlay, moulded plinth raised claw feet
