18k, gilt three quarter plate movement, lever escapement, screwed chaton jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance, polished gold cuvette, white enamel dial, roman numerals,  sunk subsidiary dials for months in four year cycle, day, date and constant seconds combined with aperture for moon phases, polished heavy case, hallmarked for London 1898, casemaker AS (Arnold Schaefli ?), slide repeat in the band, movement signed J. & G. Beasley no. 12494, 34 St James's Street London.
