countwheel bell striking movement with pinwheel escapement marked P.M. 487 M, fitted in an ormolu sphere with Roman numerals and Breguet hands forming the lower part of an elaborate flower decorated gridiron pendulum, suspended from an ebonized lyre-shaped case surmounted by a well cast and chiselled sunburst ornament with a lady on clouds, foliate horn-of-plenty mounts to the sides, rectangular moulded base with ormolu acanthus relief moulding raised on flat ormolu feet
