7-cm dial with Roman numerals signed Matthew Norman Swiss made, Breguet hands, subsidiaries for day, alarm and date, moonphase above VI, similarly signed numbered 1781 movement with platform clubtooth lever escapement, trip repeating rack striking and alarm on a gong, oval moulded gilt brass case with bevelled glass panels surmounted by a shaped carrying handle, raised on a moulded plinth
