A French Regence ormolu mounted tortoiseshell bracket clock, Chamois Bordeaux, circa 1720

26-cm twentyfive-piece dial with blue Roman numerals, centre signed Chamois Bordeaux, similarly signed five pillar verge movement with silk suspended pendulum, countwheel striking on a bell, waisted brass lined case with tortoiseshell veneer, surmounted by a finial, with ormolu foliate and scrolled mounts throughout, shaped base raised on foliate scroll feet, together with a matching ogee shaped bracket
