23.5-cm ornate relief ormolu dial with blue cartouche Roman numerals, shaped hands, five baluster shaped pillar verge movement signed Tallon A Paris with silk suspended pendulum and countwheel striking on a bell, waisted boulle inlaid case, throughout with foliate and scrolled ormolu mounts, the concave top surmounted by an ormolu putto, boulle inlaid interior and glazed front and sides, shaped base raised on ormolu scrolled feet, together with a matching ogee shaped bracket
