A fine and oversized pink gold wristwatch, Patek Philippe & Co., No. 938575, Ref. 2450, first series 1952

18k, nickel lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, precision regulator, silvered dial, applied faceted triangular numerals, gold hands, subsidiary seconds, snap back, case, dial and movement signed, with 18k pink gold Patek Philippe buckle.

Reference 2450 is a rare one. The production of the first series were made with calibre 12-120, from 1948 till 1952. The second series had calibre 12-400, produced from 1950 till 1952.

The accompanying Extract from the Archives of Patek Philippe confirms that this watch was manufactured in 1952 and was sold on December 10th, 1952.
