Description

the vase of baluster form resting on a square four-legged stand, inset with a clock to the centre of the body behind a hinged circular glass facade, the surround inlaid with ruby glass beads, the neck and foot embellished with further ruby and emerald glass beads to form stylised florets, all surrounded by chased foliate leafy scrolls, flanked at the sides by a pair of zoomorphic mask ring handles, with a further pair of handles to the neck, the rim and foot also lined with a row of ruby glass beads, 'planted' with sprays of hardstone flowers, now mainly missing
