Catalogue Note

The center of this bracelet is very similar in style to a pendant by Giuliano, signed with both C.G. and the monogram of Phillips Brothers and Son, the retailer. The dual signature on the pendant illustrates the relationship of Giuliano with prominent retail houses during his first fourteen years in London. See Geoffrey C. Munn, Castellani and Giuliano, Revivalist Jewellery of the 19th Century, pl. 28.

The style of the bracelet band closely resembles the designs of Pasquale Novissimo.
