Gold and pearl 'angel' pendant-necklace, Carlo Giuliano, circa 1880

The pendant in the form of a chased gold angel surmounted by a pearl-centered floret, raising up to reveal a gold beaded cross within a shield-shaped plaque, attached to a bar with pearl terminals supporting baton and pearl fringes, all suspended from a chain of gold reeded batons and pearls, length 17 inches, signed C.G.
