Description

The gold rosary composed of tan-colored agate beads interrupted at intervals by turquoise enamel candy-twist batons flanking pearls, the central fringe composed of a glazed compartment of heart shape and anchored by a gold crucifix applied with white enamel, the arms set with a garnet, sapphire, diamond and beryl, crucifix signed C.G. With original fitted leather case signed C.& A. Giuliano.

Catalogue Note

The crucifix which is signed C.G. for Carlo Giuliano predates the rosary which was presumably made to match it by his sons Carlo and Arthur whose initials appear on the fitted case.
