Description

Composed of heart-shaped links applied with translucent red enamel bordered by red cabochonné enamel, joined to red and white striped batons with seed pearl terminals, unsigned. With original fitted velvet case signed Giuliano, 49 Howland Street, Art Goldsmith, London W.

Catalogue Note

According to Geoffrey Munn, jewels by Federico and Ferdinando Giuliano are rare. Although unsigned, the cufflinks can be identified by the original fitted case which is signed on the silk. The red and white enamel is also characteristic of their work.
