Designed as a pair of diamond-set wings tipped in translucent pink enamel flanking a square-cut sapphire, within a foliate wreath of green enameled oak and chestnut leaves, unsigned.

Catalogue Note

The design of wings flanking a central stone is a recurrent theme in Giuliano's work and was a favorite of 19th century jewelers, in general due to its symbolism. See the footnote to lot 122.
