Condition
The board is sound. There is some evidence of minor frame rubbing to the extreme edges. Some specks of surface dirt throughout. Otherwise in good condition. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals scattered retouchings throughout. Held in a grey painted modern frame in fair condition.

The stormy seascape is executed in oil on board. The calm seascape is executed in oil on canvas board. Both boards are sound. Minor frame rubbing to the extreme edges. A few faint light surface scratches to the surface of the stormy seascape. Scattered specks of surface dirt to both. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals scattered retouchings throughout each work. Held in grey painted modern frames in fair condition.
