RARE COUPE À QUATRE TÊTES, KUBA, RÉPUBLIQUE DÉMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO

Le réceptacle de cette coupe à vin de palme offre une rare composition à quatre visages. Chacun est traité de manière identique : large face presque plane aux traits anguleux, yeux étirés et saillants, sourcils se rejoignant à la naissance du nez, lié par un sillon à la bouche aux commissures relevées, la face entièrement ponctuée de scarifications tripartites. Le piètement ajouré est traité en damier, alternant les plans rectangulaires à décor géométrique profondément gravé et les parties ajourées. Belle patine brune, brillante.
