good condition other than a small shallow inpainted chip to edge of underside, but all on the bottom and does not show from the side. (inpainting now darkened); very minute chips to black basalt right at the base; the applied ornament with some scattered faint firing cracks (in the making) which have now become a bit dirty; old felt bumpers on the bottom; bottom of vase is black with the applied man with a hat in white color.
