A Kashan prayer rug
approximately 7ft. by 4ft. 5in. (2.13 by 1.35m.)

circa 1930. Generally sound. Closely sheared 1/2 inch overall with very minimal wear to knotheads, very minimal tension/foldwear to knotheads. Slightly grubby - recommend cleaning. Sides sound and later overcast in blue wool. Ends with 1/3 inch flatweave and 0-1 inch rugged knotted fringes partually present. Good flexible handle. Sound overall fabric.
