Description

  • A Granite Ushabti
  • Height 12 in. 30.5 cm.
inscribed for the Royal Scribe, Paser, holding hoes and seed-sack, and wearing beaded bracelets, broad collar, and long striated tripartite wig, the body almost encircled by seven lines of inscription carefully carved in sunk relief, his face with full lips, broad nose, and large almond-shaped eyes and eyebrows painted in remains of black and white pigment.
