Description
- An Italo-Corinthian Olpe
- Height 17 1/8 in. 43.5 cm.
with torus foot and ribbed handle flanked by rotelles on the rim, the body painted in brown and red with five registers containing friezes of confronted sphinxes, striding bulls, lions, geese, boar, and deer, rosettes in the field, rays above the foot.
