LeRoy Ireland (1889-1970) was a fellow student of George Luks at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, and later shared a studio with Luks in New York. Ireland eventually became an art dealer and may best be known today for his catalogue raisonné of the works of George Inness.
