  • each 56cm. high; 1ft. 10in.
each in the form of a kneeling Egyptian female figure with two candlearms in each hand, her head surmounted by a globe and owl, with three further candle branches, on a plinth base, fronted by a bucranium with two entwined wreaths on the side

Hans Ottomeyer/Peter Pröschel, Vergoldete Bronzen, Vol. I., p. 338, fig. 5.3.6., illustrates a pair of candelabra with kneeling Egyptian figures surmounted by an owl, part of a garniture signed Galle.
