with two graduated white marble tiers, with pierced gilt-bronze gallery the upper part of the stem with brass fluting, on three splayed legs, terminating in pad feet, with brass castors

Joseph Canabas (1712-1797), one of the most famous makers of small mahogany pieces. Received master in 1766.
