  • clock and bracket 160cm. high; 5ft. 3in.
the clock of cartouche form with a leafy cresting with musical trophies, the gilt-bronze dial with white and blue enamel cartouche numerals, the movement number 1889 with later Brocot escapement and spring suspension striking the hours and quarters on two bells, the musical movement mounted in the base of the case and playing on ten bells with twenty hammers driven by a 6-inch pinned brass cylinder (tune selection facility removed), the case cast with further musical trophies and leaves, on a tapering bracket cast with rocaille, guilloche and foliage
