the cresting surmounted by a scrolled boss,  the case cast with scrolls, flowers and foliage, the 7in. enamel dial signed Lepaute hgr Du roi A Paris, the movement with five knopped pillars, Chevalier de Béthune escapement with silk suspension, the hours and quarters struck on two bells with outside countwheel, the thermometer with spiral reserve and set on a card plate signed Raux, Emailleur du Roy A Paris.
