Etchings after Antoine Jolli, 1765, the set of six plates, with margins, some folds, tears, some other minor defects (mainly in the margins); with le antichita di pozzuoli baja e cume, etchings, 1769, two plans, one map, 39 plates, from the set of 40, lacking plate 40, with margins, a few tears in the margins, some folds and lesser defects, light foxing; and four others by the same (unexamined out of frames) 

Catalogue Note

The present set includes a beautiful series of plates of Naples and its surroundings, as well as the rare views of Paestum after Antoine Jolli. The latter were the second published illustrations of the temples at Paestum (the first being those in Dumont's Suite de Plans..., (Paris, 1764).
