Entre 1934 et 1938, Madame J.O. Weber commande à Terence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings pour la Casa Encantada, sa maison de campagne de Bel-Air en Californie, la totalité du mobilier. La maison est vendue en 1952 à Monsieur Conrad Hilton, puis à David Mordoch, qui finalement disperse son contenu en deux ventes chez Sotheby's à New York les 18 décembre 1980 et le 15 février 1981
Condition
Good overall condition. Lacks of gilt onto the upper parts of the square bases of the firedogs and all over the surface. Oxidation of the wrought-iron parts going into the fireplace. Some thin scratches, as regular signs of use.
