- (later) engraved mark 'Gallé'
- height 19 cm
colourless glass with an opaque opalescent green layer, overlaid in amber and etched with columbines against a dark iridescent layer, the iridescence partly carved open to reveal the internal green layer, partly fire-polished and with martelé base

A vase of similar model and decoration technique executed by Désiré Christian is in the Düsseldorf Gerda Koepff collection. It is possible that the vase here offered for sale was also executed by Christian but was later marked for Gallé.
