Condition
The painting is on original canvas. The surface is dirty and there are some minor areas of paint separation to the figure's dress and some light stretcher bar marks by the upper edge. There are also some very minor areas of surface craquelure scattered in the background, but otherwise it is in good overall condition. Under ultra violet light, there are some fine lines of retouching to areas of paint separation to the figure. The painting is held in a carved gilt wood frame.
