the clock case surmounted by a scantily clad nymph standing on a shell flanked by dolphins, the ivory, turquoise, blue and pink painted dial within a low relief carved panel flanked by a pair of corinthian gilt-bronze and onyx columns, the front relief panel signed on the lower right with monogram VDK, the finial sculpture signed J. M. Van Der Kemp and monograqm VDK on the reverse, the twin-train movement inscribed Van Der Kemp-Paris with the A.D. Mougin pastille.
