by S. Schellink, of lobed baluster form and square section, boldly painted on all four sides with birds perched amongst purple spider chrysanthemums, printed factory mark, painted year code, decorator's mark and work order number 119 6. Some restoration to base and neck, cover lacking.

Lady Jane Abdy, London, 1979
Condition
Please note this vase should have a cover.
The underside of the foot (except the area of the mark) is oversprayed with a yellow spray which has gone grey near the mark. Three of the four corners of the base of the vase are restored, one with extensive overspray which is now cracked. There was probably a hole on this corner. The adjacent corner has a restored crack running up 7 cm into the body. The other restored corner appears only to have had a small chip. A 9cm by 3.5 cm V shaped section of the neck has been broken out and restored back in. There is some minor crazing on the shoulder of the vase – On one panel the crazing is slightly discolored. The vase has warped slightly in the firing.
