A group of Mintons turquoise-ground teawares circa 1875-80

possibly designed by Christopher Dresser, comprising: a set of six coffee cups and six saucers enamelled with birds and butterflies amongst branches on a turquoise-ground; a pair of side plates enamelled with small birds amongst branches of oranges; and a waste bowl decorated with fans and flowers, impressed MINTONS, various years cyphers, some indistinctly impressed, painted pattern numbers G2536, G3199 and G584 respectively. Some crazing to turquoise ground. 15 pieces.
