  • 22.8 cm; 29.5 cm
finely painted, depicting a rider with outstretched hand reaching for a nude female, representing Fortune and Power, while trampling Life, represented by a woman underfoot, as he plunges into a precipice to his death, closely followed by Death riding a black horse, indistinct impressed marks on the reverse.  Set within a carved giltwood frame.
