finely painted in the manner of Latour with a three-quarter length portrait of an alluring young woman holding a brass candleholder, impressed KPM mark beneath a sceptre and the letter H, incised measurement 12 7/8-7 5/8 on the reverse. Set within a carved giltwood frame.
