the base painted on one side with the Arts, on the other with a bacchanale, above a continuous landscape, the body painted with putto and couples fishing and a grape harvest, the interior with engraved plaque of Neptune within grisaille foliage, the rigging with fourteen enameled sailors, the deck mounted with a compass and about 30 sailors drinking, tapping barrels, playing cards, making music, and navigating, the sails painted on both sides with Venus, Cupid, and Psyche, Neptune, and personifactions of the winds, the stern lantern with infant harvesters, the furled sails with swags, putti, and flying birds
