A gilt-bronze mounted amber-ground Sevres style vase late 19th century

the baluster-shaped body flanked on each side by swan head handles, painted on the front with an oval cartouche depicting Napoleon I and officers overlooking a battlefield, titled in black ink Bataille de Rivoli and signed Poitevin, the reverse with a cartouche emblematic of war.  Restoration to the base.
