Description

  • height 12 1/4 in. (31.1cm)
each modelled after a Sèvres 'vase Ferré', the ovoid body molded with four oval panels linked by straps and suspended from gilt laurel garlands, painted with alternating seascapes and landscapes, reserved on the turquoise ground, above a fluted stem and square base, the pierced covers surmounted by pinecone knops, green printed ermine marks. Both covers and one stem with some restoration.
