the ewer well painted with a continuous frieze of classical figures reserved on a claret ground between raised gilt-patterned multi-colored borders at the neck and foot, repeated on the rim of the stand, shield marks in underglaze-blue, red painted title 'Der Bachantenzug'. Slight wear to gilding.
