  • height of vase and cover 34in. (86.4cm)
painted on the front with an oval panel of Aurora and Cephalus and on the reverse with the Judgement of Paris, each signed F. Wagner, Wien, reserved within an elaborate gilt border on a richly gilt claret ground, now drilled and mounted as a lamp. Minor restoration to base of body.
