18k, nickel lever movement, 18 jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance, precision regulator, adjusted to temperatures and 2 positions, silvered matte dial, blued steel moon-style hands, circular case with unusual large bezel connected to case by gold batons at five-minute intervals, in the shape of a ship's helm, t-lugs, case signed European Watch & Clock Co. and hand-stamped with Cartier numbers, dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co. Inc., with an associated 18k gold Tiffany & Co. woven mesh bracelet and clasp.

Catalogue Note

This model, known commonly as the 'helm,' takes its name from the distinctive form of the bezel, shaped like a ship's wheel.  Such examples in clean condition are rare.
