A collection of Twenty-Nine balance bridges, 17th century-19th century

comprising seven silvered bridges, one in the shape of a Maltese cross, one centered by a scene of the crucifixion, and another with a putto recumbent on an urn, the others pierced and engraved with elaborate foliate scrolls; nineteen gilt-metal, each pierced and engraved with foliate designs, including one oversized bridge probably for a Pouzait-type movement signed Lange A Calais, an openwork bridge inhabited by a figure framed by columns, and various other fine examples.
