18k, nickel lever movement,  mono-metallic compensation balance, 18 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, champagne matte dial, applied baton indexes, subsidiary seconds, tonneau water-resistant-type case, screw-down crown, case, dial and movement signed.

Rolex produced the Veriflat in 1954 to fill the void in their production of a sports-type dress watch. The Veriflat is significantly thinner than other Oysters and has a recessed knurled water resistant-type back to help to facilitate this. This watch was not produced in tremendous numbers, which makes it one of the rarer models produced by Rolex.
